ABOUT THE EYE COLLECTION CLOTHING COMPANY
Michael Williams was born on the tropical island of Jamaica
in the early 1960s. Attended Denham Town Secondary School then proceeded to St.
Andrew Technical High School, (STATHS) where he graduated with 4 o’levels and 4
CXC distinctions and passes. His educational achievements secured employment
with Jamaican Aqualapia (a fishing trade company) as a Purchasing Officer at its
New Kingston located office. Employment with Jamaican Aqualapia lasted four
years after which immediate migration to the United States followed in 1980s.
With new goals and aspirations Michael Williams embarked on a quest for higher
education at the New York City Technical College. During his senior year at the
college, Discover Contractor Company gainfully employed Michael for two
consecutive years. At the end of his tenure at Discover Contractor Company he
moved on to be a Location Accountant for Pepsi Bottling Group (PBG) in Somers,
New York.
In 2000, Michael acted out his desire to be his own boss
when he started Buttons Galore, Inc. a small promotional company in Queens New
York. Through hard work and the desire to succeed, he developed this company by
manufacturing hundreds of election champagne buttons for politicians,
hairdressers, restaurant owners etc. As the years progress business proved
profitable as Buttons Galore’s clientele grew.
In 2003 the idea of his duly fostered creative intuitions
materialized, when he plummet into the fashion industry starting his own label
Eye Collection. Michael, though
self-taught, starts to design a wide range of fashionable cut t-shirts with an
exotic urban flavor on his personal computer for friends and family that creates
a utterly beautiful look and feel and they love to wear. Michael’s designs were
so overwhelmingly received by trendsetters and fashion icons that he vowed to
make his dream a reality; Eye Collection
was deemed to go a very long way. With a strong belief in his product, his
extraordinary work ethics and motivation Michael’s newly founded
Eye Collection was destined for the run
ways of New York.

Collection made its international debut at the 2005 Caribbean
Fashion Week in Kingston Jamaica.
The
Eye Collection
targets the hip hop and the reggae community appealing to a wide age group and
is a favorite new comer in the industry. On behalf of the
